Mental Health & Nutrition
Licensed clinical social worker and certified eating disorder specialist and supervisor. I was a competitive ice skater and ice skating coach. I recently have returned to the sport as an adult competitive skater.
I am licensed in NY and CA to provide psychotherapy for those residing in those states who are struggling with their relationship with food, body image, anxiety and depression. For many elite athletes, transitioning away from your sport can be difficult to navigate. While some are just trying to adjust to lifestyle changes others can struggle with adjusting to their new body and relationship with food. I can help provide support and create peace with body image through a Health At Every Size lens and anti-diet/diet culture perspective. Leaving a sport and transition to a new phase of life can also come with emotional challenges that I can help support through a compassionate therapeutic approach.

Colby Thibault is a registered dietitian, certified personal trainer, and trained professional chef. She helps former female athletes and current active women unlearn the feelings of control over food and the gym and help them achieve a balanced life. Her business, Triad Performance & Nutrition, LLC, is committed to providing nutrition counseling in a non-diet holistic approach through a licensed professional based on current research and evidence. Her goal is to positively impact clients who are searching for personal improvement in their own health and wellness and are ready to build lifelong sustainable habits.
Her expertise is unique by combining the 3 tiers of culinary arts, nutrition/dietetics, and physical/functional fitness for a well-rounded approach to long-term success; essentially three professionals in one! Her signature coaching program, the Balanced Athlete & Lifestyle Academy (BALA), is founded on her unique approach along with unbiased care and empathy for all of her clients.
I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) working in Massachusetts. I am especially passionate about working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, self-esteem, relationship troubles, body image, LGBTQ+, and difficulties related to life transitions. My approach to counseling is primarily a humanistic focus, meaning that my goal is to build a trusting relationship with you as my client without judgment. From there, I will assist you in identifying goals you have for change and utilize multiple modalities to help you achieve these goals. I will be happy to listen and offer perspective that will encourage you to learn so much more about yourself. Growing up in the figure skating world, I experienced the unique challenges the sport presents first hand, and I believe I can bring a helpful perspective to the table as a resource.
